What is NigTax 2026?
A browser-based calculator that helps estimate Nigerian business and personal income tax from typical Moniepoint or OPay statement exports, with optional PDF reports.
Do I need to fill many fields before I can run?
No. The latest flow is simple by default. You can run with just core inputs (and statement upload if available). Advanced assumptions are optional.
Where are the new advanced features?
Inside the Advanced · PRO dropdown. It stays hidden unless you are signed in with an active PRO membership.
What is in Business Advanced · PRO?
Allowable CIT deductions, turnover adjustments, declared gross profit override, prior-year loss, WHT/CIT instalment inputs, period notes, and accountant export (JSON/CSV).
What is in Personal Advanced · PRO?
Other income, other relief, WHT input, period notes, and accountant export (JSON/CSV). All are optional.
Which file formats work?
CSV, Excel (.xlsx, .xls), and PDF statements from supported providers. If a PDF asks for a password when you open it, enter the same password in the tool.
Is this official advice from FIRS or the government?
No. Outputs are estimates for planning and education. Filing obligations, audits, and final assessments are determined by law and the relevant authorities. Consult a qualified tax professional for filing decisions.
Do I need an account to use the calculator?
No account is required for the base calculator. NigTax PRO is optional and unlocks advanced controls, multi-statement workflows, and saved reports.
What does PRO membership include now?
PRO includes Advanced dropdown inputs, multiple statements in one run, saved queries, PDF regeneration, and handoff exports. Use PRO membership, PRO login, and Recent reports in the top menu.
What is the certified consultant option?
A paid add-on: a registered tax consultant may review your assessment and apply an official stamp and signature, subject to admin configuration and availability. It does not replace your own duty to ensure accuracy.
Where does my data go?
See our Privacy Policy for what is processed, why, and retention at a high level. Avoid uploading files you do not need for the estimate.
Why are totals empty or different from what I expect?
Check file format/layout, date range, and PDF password. Re-export from your bank app if needed. In PRO mode, review Advanced inputs and clear any accidental values.
Will Advanced fields be required in future runs?
No. Advanced fields are optional each time. If left blank, the calculator keeps the simple estimation path.
